About FOREST
Mission
Forest is an interdisciplinary group of scholars, graduate students, secondary school teachers, and local community members devoted to facilitating research, debate, and dissemination of diverse perspectives at the intersections of religion, culture, nature, science, technology, and ethics.
Through roundtable discussions, brown bag lunches, conferences, speakers, and community forums the vision here is to contribute significantly to the public’s understandings of the insights and challenges brought on by contemporary science, and how religion, nature, science, and ethics are intertwined.
We encourage all members, from all aspects of the community to participate: scholars, students, community members of religious and secular backgrounds, secondary school teachers, and activists. Contact forest folk to find out more and learn how to get involved.
